• Red Dao kid by Rehahn

Van Anh

It is hard not to fall in love with the sweet expression on the face of Van Anh, a child from the Red Dao ethnic group. Réhahn befriended Van Anh’s mother on his travels through Sapa. She invited Réhahn to have lunch at her home and they became close friends. Réhahn keeps in touch with the family to this day. Van Anh’s portrait is the perfect example of the delightful innocence of childhood.
