This photograph was taken on the waterfront of the Thu Bon River, which flows along Hoi An. It is also the cover of Réhahn’s second book Vietnam, Mosaic of Contrasts, Volume II. The walls of an ancient merchant house offered a picturesque setting for this sophisticated woman dressed in her traditional ao dai who happened to walk by at the right moment.
