In the hills above Sapa many of the ethnic groups in Vietnam continue to use the leaves of the indigo plant to dye their textiles an iconic deep blue. Réhahn’s photographs of the H’Mong and Dao tribes and their eco-friendly dyeing process show the value of tradition.
